Scrub Initiative
We support Clinical Medical students wearing scrubs to facilitate infection control and a comfortable learning environment. Every year we have been helping 20 needy medical students obtain two scrub sets since 2020. .
Medical Faculty Disability Access
On July 11, 2023, our esteemed President, Dr. M. Mylashan, and visionary Dean Prof.S.Surendrakumaran, proudly declared the opening of Faculty Disability Access, marking a significant step towards inclusivity and accessibility within our beloved institution. The Project was funded by JMFOA-Canada.
Gender Awareness Training
Gender Cell of the
Faculty of Medicine (GCFM), University of Jaffna organized the very first gender awareness
programme for the supporting staff of the Faculty.
The workshop was held on the afternoons (1 to 5 pm) of 18th and 19th October 2023 in the
Conference Hall of the Faculty of Medicine. 48 supporting staff members of different
responsibilities from most of the departments attended on both days.
